Just as an fyi- when you enter the contributor info on your account, the contributor must also list their name on their own Created FAFSA account EXactly like you listed it otherwise they’ll never see the section to sign their portion. You also must make sure you sign your part as well prior to them signing! I had nothing but issues with this new method until I figured it out!! 😮

Nothing is corrupt about the cost of getting an education. As much as I don't like student loans, we have a choice to make for our future. We can choose a future living in poverty or become middle-income with student debt? The lesson learned is how much debt should you take on before enrolling in the university of your choice? Before you consider a Masters's degree, think about going overseas for your education. Everything is cheaper and in some cases, your fees are nowhere near prices at UCLA or Penn State. It would be great to study in Euope, Spain, Thailand or Kenya. Get out and see the world while keeping your expenses and debt low. Get out there!

Ive sent my parents both invites to my form as contributors. The invite doesnt show for my mothers account though, so there's no way to fill out the information and get the form completed when all the emails fafsa sends dont even link properly for my mom to log in and find her invite to fill out. pls help have been trying since March.

I completed the form for the 4th time. Every 3 days it say I have to sign it again. when I signed last week it say completed. What happened? Why does this keep happening. I have a picture of the message that said completed.

Anyone find a solution to getting to the signature page? It keeps sending me back to the first page in an endless loop. I've submitted a few trouble tickets and get the same response. Try and a new and updated browser. Try deleting the cookies/cache. I've tried all of those steps and event deleted and started a new application every time. I'm pretty close to submitting a paper application. Has anyone had luck?

Student loans are not financial "aid." They're long-term debt that can't be released in bankruptcy.

Why not pay the principle first, interest second? Loan will end earlier. Also, allow students to renegotiate the terms of their loans.

The email sent to my parents is taking us to 2023-24 fafsa form rather than 2024-25. Due to this they cant sign causing me and my sibling not to be able to submit the form...

I'm having the same issue the system is not allowing my contributor to sign there is nothing on the site to sign it's just going through the same information actually is not even allowing access to the 2425 form on the contributors site

I came here to comment one thing: The constant delays and miscommunication from the federal student aid and the employees are the absolute worst thing I've ever experienced, resetting a password has turned out to be 3 months of hell. Absolutely, horrible experience. Never have I struggled with resetting a password.

I love it! The person has no eyes because duh they are living in a delusional world where they can pretend like they didnt just fuck over all the students who are on their own. This sets up a situation where the government is permanently paying interest on loans that never go down. What moron that obviously failed economics came up with this program? This is literally a permanent subsidy of tax payer dollars directly to the banks. Worse than that the expenses will only continue to grow as more and more people enroll.
